  • The year is coming to an end. The year is coming to an end.

I still can't believe that the year is coming to an end.

Time really FLIES. It is scary.

Looking back, 2008 was a very good year. God has been very gracious to me. There were many things that happened throughout this year that has been some experience that I've not encounter before. Been to places that I've never been before, did things that I've never did before, got to know people that have blessed me so much, experience things that I've never tried before, learnt lessons that have made me grow up.

There were ups and downs, but no regrets, the experiences was priceless. Maybe there were some things that I could have done it another way, or I could have choose another path. But I am glad that things happened the way it did.

I can't wait for 2009. A new year. A new begining. Tomorrow will be a better day.

There are so many goals and aims for this year. I don't even know if I'm being too greedy or ambitious. Well, no harm aiming high since it won't hurt right?

    GOALS AND AIMS FOR 2009

    1. Consistently be disciplined to do my daily devotion. Spend more time in my walk with God.

    2. Put God as the center of focus in everything that I do. Be faithful in the little things by doing my very best. Do not compare with others but rather, do what's within my ability.

    3. Pick up a few new skills like talking. Learn to smile more too. I've slowly dropped that ''serious/fierce" title, seldom hear it these days, but yesh I can do better.

    4. Read one book per month. Or at least one in every two months.

    5. Plan my spendings and set aside a portion for offerings, pledges and savings. And go according to it.

    6. Lose weight. It has been getting a little out of hand these days. I have to be in control of this. Eat healthily.

    7. Time management: plan ahead of time and look into the details to avoid unnecessary trouble.

    8. Learn to forgive and let go of grudges. Learn to be more accomodating and understanding.

    9. Appreciate things and people around me. Be generous in giving compliments.

    10. Lastly, get a good guy . But this last one, no hurry, thats why its the last on the list.

  • A jolly good week

It's 1.16am now. Getting a little sleepy but I have got too many things to jot down now because I know that I can be quite forgetful so I'd better put them down before I forget. I am still waiting for my hair to dry anyway. B is sleeping underneath my chair, snoring away. My brother is still on his PS2. Dad and mom are sound asleep. Sis is upstairs dilly-dallying in the shower. If you could see me now, I am smiling. I simply love home.

The past few days have been great. It was not the totally "bizarrely-great" great, but was a "pleasantly-contentedly-great" great week .

Tuesday: Reunion with my fellow classmates from SMART and also celebrated Tunesh's birthday. I had a really good time catching up with the rest. Had not attended some past few reunions because my holidays are usually quite different from the rest so I could not join them. I was really looking forward to seeing them after one long year and was glad to see that everyone seems to be doing quite fine.

Wednesday: Went for movies with my usual mates, pay ying, yee mei and ying wei. Watched 'the day the earth stood still'. It was seriously quite lousy but I had a good laugh at the part where Keanu Reeves started speaking in mandarin with an elderly man. It was H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S. However, the movie was a waste of time in general. Th reason being, there was no climax, it has a lousy ending, and overall it was very draggy. Went to denise after That because Ying Wei needs to get a bottle of wine as christmas present for someone. We then gleefully head towards carrefour to shop for our barbeque food on the next day to grab whatever we wanna eat.

Dad said that I get to have my pick for dinner and so we had dinner at Zul's Satay. I  beef and mutton satays and air sirap bandung!

Thursday: Had a very very good sleep as it was raining that I woke up only during noon time. Me, my two musketeers and mom put up the christmas tree. B was happy to see the tree up, I think he must be in the christmasy mood like us already.

Evening was superb. Went to py's place for our usual barbeque. This is something from home that I have been missing a lot because we used to do mini barbeque like these very regularly during form 6 days. Too bad half of them who were usually with us were all not around, otherwise it would be even better. We have a new member with us though. Our bone-chewer, py's dog, Tony, only 6 months old, but he's very big and quite a handsome too! A very huggable boy!

P181208_21P181208_21P181208_21P181208_21P181208_21P181208_19 this boy is a darling although he's quite playful! well can't blame him, he's still a puppy. but quite a big one though haha.

Friday: Went for breakfast with Pay Ying, Ying Wei and Yee Mei at old town before sending Ying Wei off to KL at the bus terminal. PY suggested to go to parkson in town because it's been so long since we've last been there. KPC youths were at home whole day doing props for their christmas sketch. I went out with mom in the late afternoon for grocery shopping for Sunday School's Christmas goodies bags.Had a good after-dinner talk with family while packing and wrapping the goodies bags.

my little voice: i am really thankful for all that God has given me. given a choice i would want nothing in my life not to change. i am contented with what He has given me. I realised that life can always be happy and satisfying if you just learn to give thanks. nothing is coincidence.

  • My holiday begins...

Finally got home on Sunday night. Home sweet home.

I was SOOO DELIGHTED to see my little darling. He went crazy when I stepped into the house, jumped up and down and HE IS STILL SO CUDDLY . As usual, he practically followed me around the house the whole night and I hugged him to sleep. Dreams were never sweeter. I heart him so much!

    manja king nombor satu!

Was in ESPlosion camp for the past 4 days from 11th to 14th Dec, in Plentong, JB.

The place and the food was great. The rooms, dorms and the whole area is just so well kept. The food is really very good considering that they are cooking for more than 280 of us.

I had a good time of fellowship with my fellow ktn youths especially the girls. It was also a good 4 days of rest for me, the spiritually rejuvenating kind of rest because I have been feeling rather lost focus. Glad to be there with them for these few days.

Throughout these four days. God has reminded me regarding His calling for me which I have been running away from it. Right now, I am not quite sure yet as I only have a rough picture of what God wants me to do and therefor am still seeking for more of His guidance and confirmation as well as directions as to the steps that I should take and where it would lead me to. There were a couple of things that I needed to set it right before Him too. It was such a relieve to be able to come back to where I belong. Previously, there were many questions that has been bothering me for quite a while, but now I clearly understand that God has the answer and will answer them when the time is right. I just need to seek Him earnestly.

Journey back from JB. Pastor Koshy this is specially dedicated to you!

Went for coffee with my buddies back home in ktn. Lots of catching up to be done while I'm home!

Oh, how I love home. Stress free. long chats with friends.

I already have plannings for activities all lined up for this week. christmas drama discussion tomorrow afternoon, steamboat dinner with ex-SMART classmates tomorrow night, movie and shopping on wednesday afternoon and probably barbeque at py's place on thursday?

my little voice: be grateful for who you are and what you have. you may not be who you are or have what you have tomorrow.

be grateful for the ups and downs that you go through, there is always something to learn from it. never avoid and say don't look back, because experiences makes one stronger and wiser. however do not ponder over things, do not cry over spilt milk. look back and smile, because at least you've been through it.

trust in the Lord, and you will find rest.
